Guided tours, lectures and concerts regularly take place in the Ernst Barlach Haus. This wide variety of activities is part of the mission of the museum and is rooted in the multifaceted character of the artist Ernst Barlach, who declared at the early age of nineteen: “Sculpture does not fulfil me completely, therefore I draw, and because that does not fulfil me either, I write.” In this spirit, the Ernst Barlach Haus perceives itself as a place for lively artistic dialogue.
